Sony just introduced the Xperia Z3 in Berlin earlier today,
along with the Z3 Compact, Z3 Tablet Compact, and a whole mess of
accessories. But what’s really the deal with this phone? Is it just a
minor tweak to the Xperia Z2? Does it do enough right to really make a
name of its own? We stopped by Sony’s IFA 2014 presence to find out for
ourselves, going hands-on with the Xperia Z3.
Thin bezels, a beautiful display with tweaks like an intelligent
contrast engine, and a camera that’s not just high-res, but also offers
some impressive optical performance, all add up to make this a pretty
compelling smartphone package.
Beyond features, we also look at the build quality – this is a phone that doesn’t just seem to have its act together on the specs page,
delivering in the performance department, but one that has a body
that’s not just quite thin, but also resistant to attack from the
elements. Watch below to check out everything we got to see for
yourself.
