The LG L60 dual-SIM smartphone, which was seen listed on the company's Russia website earlier this
month in its X145 variant, has now reached Indian shores and is available for Rs. 7,999 from an e-commerce website. The smartphone is yet to be listed on the company's India website.
As listed on Amazon India, the LG L60 X147 is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device and is powered by the comparatively new Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It is powered by a dual-core processor (unspecified) clocked at 1.3GHz. LG's budget offering features a 4.3-inch TFT display. It also sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash.
From its Russia launch earlier this month, the LG L60 is also seen to sport 512MB RAM; 4GB of inbuilt storage (expandable via microSD card up to 32GB); a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 1540mAh battery.
In terms of connectivity options, the LG L60 features GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Micro-USB connectivity options. The smartphone measures 66.3x124.15x11.8mm, weighs 119 grams and comes in Black and White colour variants.
It is worth noting that other variants of the LG L60 were also spotted earlier this month on Wi-Fi Alliance website. The variants spotted were LG-X132, LG-X145, LG-X135, LG-X137, LG-X130j, and LG-X147, and vary according to region and network carriers.
LG last week announced two new affordable smartphones - the L Fino and L Bello - targeted at the emerging 3G markets. The South Korean giant also announced that the new L series smartphones will be showcased at the IFA 2014 show in Berlin in early September.
